Training is booked for Thursday 11th November 2004 at 9.30pm (only time i could get) at Goals, A3 Shannons corner. I will look into Angel hill as some people are not entirely happy with the Goals venue but it may be too expensive unless you want to give me all your beer money! ;D management1

I should be there. Not bothered which venue we use, I'm happy with whichever you choose.

you only need to hire a third of the pitch at that place in rosehill and it costs about £35, you just need to make sure you have one of the thirds with the goalposts in them and we can do some proper training

The best I could do (and admittidly I didn't chase very hard) was Friday evening as this pitch can be booked several weeks in advance and can be block booked. The decent days/times were constantly booked out for weeks in advance and the clubs involved had rolling bookings so I was unable to get a decent time. With any luck Bill will be able to use his superirior charm to get us a decent session...

To be perfevtly honest those , including jim, that were there last week at training were more than happy with what we did before playing five a side. I thought with that in mind we would carry on as we are unless anyone else has a problem i don't know about yet. I am approachable and not going to bite your head off! 8-)management1

TBH, the session I attended was great (apart from not being able to find the place!!)
I've trained at the astro turf at Rosehill and actually think Goals is better.
Lets be honest, when we have trained in the past how often do we try to do some "real" training (with Larry doing fitness and ball work) and most of the players just want to play a game? We should stick with Goals for the time being and see if the numbers and effort hold up. The sessions are benefitial to everyone and, as the old saying goes, "You only get out what you put in". If you want iot to be a good session then it will be!
