doubt that i will be attending.............hate to sound like a sour puss but,i appreciate that the team has finally got some training organised but i feel that as a goal keeper (allegedly anyway) i dont really get any beneficial training from this and feel that the team would benefit in other ways.

Now we know what the pitch sizes and numbers attending are we can start to set things up last week was the first try and a suck it and see thing. You are receiving benefit from it as you made some good saves, your sharpness and agility are being finely tuned and when we all start talking to each other (one day it will happen) the communication will be paramount on match days. If it helps what sort of training exactly would you like? 8-)management1 p.s its better than staying in and w*****g!

Jimothy, being purely selfish, think it's better from an outfield players point of view that are down.
With makeshift keepers people'll be popping goals in for fun (ahem) and it must help you a bit?? Although as discussed Sunday I think the astroturf at Rose Hill is a good idea - i.e - good for shooting practice in proper nets, heading/defending, practicing crosses (something I think we definitely need to work on!).
Apologies for Sunday Bill - on behalf of the Scotsman, cocknose, the hairylad and myself (Guy not to be included as he was out with his girlfriend!).
PS. Friday 10th Dec is better for me for xmas do as my workdo is on 11th - plus if we have game on Sunday, Friday is deffo a better plan.
See you Thursday.

Guv,
Available for Sundays game, when I hope we dish out another pasting. Can't do this weeks training due to work but will be there in future.
If poss can we get some post match food and MOTM bar tab going again this year. Good team spirit, most of them alcoholics, should easily get more down with temptation of some grub and free beer.

If poss can we get some post match food and MOTM bar tab going again this year. Good team spirit, most of them alcoholics, should easily get more down with temptation of some grub and free beer. This will not be happening for the forseeable future. It would be embaressing for either Bill or myself to ask Jerry for this service when only 3 club members turn up and order a drink (Colin, Bill, Ian). When we have something like a full turn out (14 players plus) for a couple of weeks running then we will get the food and drink going again. It's in the hands of the players who let us down on Sunday afternoon to turn up. If they continue not to then the few who do show willing and spend money will suffer. Don't forget, attendance at O'Neills is in the contract you all signed at the start of the season. 3 players turning up is very poor. So, just why were there only 3 O'Neills players at the pub? I'm assuming the rest of you really don't care about the future of the club as Jerry is unlikely to re-sponsor us next season, which could cause the club to fold as I am unable to bankroll it as I have in the past. This Sunday needs to be MUCH better! Everyone that plays NEEDS to turn up at the pub afterwards. Please don't put me in a situation where I have to tell Bill he can't select certain players due to them constantly not fulfilling their contract... Like I said, there will be no food or free drink until we have had a couple of good weeks in a row. D.
