This Thursday 26th May we commence our five a side team in the thursday league at A3 Goals. The squad can be as big as we like and at this time we will enter one team and see how it goes. The team is five players plus three subs so eight people get to play. (we will rotate who gets to play but i will only warn eight people a week so no one has to turn up and not get a game-does that make sense?) cost will be about £38 pound split eight ways so £4.50 each (the extra will be used to pay off the £20 signing on fee) this week so far ed, marsh, oxer, laing, bill (goalkeeper - jim not available) ash are warned. waiting a few more replies. The Six a side season which we have enter is seven weeks old. We are obviously joint bottom having taken over from a team who could not get sides out. We started last night and despite losing 9-0 to a very good long standing side the signs are encouraging. We will learn alot from this first six a side season which we can take forward to 11 a side at the end of the year. Future fixtures are as follows: thurs 2nd june 9.15pm kick off thurs 9th june 9.15pm kick off thurs 16th june 10pm kick off thurs 23rd june 8.30pm kick off thurs 30th june 8.30pm kick off the season goes up to the 11th august so we should all get good run outs, fitness and competative football. i will let the nine players and everyone else who may wish to come and support the boys know each week. Quick updat on the six a side so far 9.6.05 lost 5-1 then the worm turned and on 16.6.05 we won 5-4 and last nite on 23.6.05 we drew 3-3 so thinhs are looking up.
financially things are working out not too bad lost out last week with only 7 players so a tenner down but overall the current six a side balance is -£7.75 with one player owing a fiver so in all -£2.75 which we should claw back next week.
txts going out re next weeks game later.
four people have payed £10 deposit signing on so far. Tenners asap please as stated already payed out £210 in total.
AGM 9th july 7.30pm in the old bank and then piss up and boogie on down baby!
Training starts on 10th july 2005 watch this space for venue time etc.

The winning streak continues as we won 9-3 this week with Ed scoring 5! That makes 11 goals in five games. Dan with an inspressive performance added 1, Rich 2 and Guy 1. Goal of the night would have been Marks had he not been denied by the bar.
Money situation currently stands at -£5.70 (five still owed so real balance -70p)
Slight ammendments to dates
AGM 8TH REPET 8TH JULY THE FRIDAY (as everyone seeems to be off to see oasis on saturday!)
Training will start 17th July for the same reason. Time and venue to be confirmed.
If anyone has any points to raise at agm please let me know asap.
